In this online course we will study The Avatar of What Is. This book by Carolyn Lee gives a wonderful introduction to the life and work of Adi Da Samraj, from His birth to the present, and brings an understanding of the uniqueness of Adi Da within the context of the great tradition of human wisdom and spirituality.

The course consists of four online sessions via Zoom. Each session covers two chapters of the book, and we consider questions, show videos of Adi Da Samraj and tell stories related to the subject of the evening. The course will be guided by Rénée Pierrot and Bart Lohr, two long-time devotees of Adi Da Samraj who are also hosting the “Where is Happiness” retreats at the European Danda. Since we have participants from different countries the course will be in English, but we can assist in Dutch, French, German and Spanish.

A next-step course after the Da Avatar Course.
Having learned more about the Life and Teaching of Avatar Adi Da Samraj, we will investigate in this course what egoless spiritual practice means for our daily life. What is spiritual practice if it is not about seeking, improving yourself or attaining anything for a presumed separate persona? We will study the book The Gift of the Eight-Part Admonition which gives a good introduction to the basic principles of the spiritual practice Adi Da Offers to His devotees. The course consists of four bi-weekly online sessions via Zoom. In between the sessions you are invited and encouraged to experiment with the practices we consider in the sessions.
